5th Class Presidential Election

In 5th class we have spent the last 3 weeks preparing to vote for a class president. We had a nomination process which resulted in Adam,  Cathal, Eogan, Keith and James becoming our 5 nominees.

The 5 boys went head to head in a heated debate on the topic “School Uniforms are a waste of time” They have been campaigning vigorously ever since then to become class president.

We had our election today in our class polling booth. The class president will be announced on Friday 28th of October 2011.

We can’t wait!!!

2nd Class’s had Fun Making Block Graphs

This week we have been learning all about block graphs in school.  First we were divided into groups.  We then chose a topic for our graphs.  We made up a question and possible answers.  We then collected data from other classes in the school.  When we were finished collecting data we then made a block graph using our findings! We presented our findings to the class! Have a look at our block graphs.
