Miss Hanrahan’s 5th Class created some impressive CUSTARD BOUNCY BALLS for Science Week 2012 using a mixture of custard powder, PVA glue, water and Borax. Here’s Billy testing his!

Here is a photo of Ben and his friend James. Ben got this orange kickboxing belt for Team Hurricane. If Ben completes his next level of training, he will get a green belt. We wish him the best of luck with this.

This is a picture of a clay model made by Niall Farrell and Sean Lawlor. We visited Blundell Castle, took lots of pictures from different positions, and this is our exact replica of the castle. Hope you like it!

5th Class recently worked on a History Project based around the life of Nelson Mandela and his struggle against the apartheid system of government in South Africa.

6th class planted some daffodil, tulip, crocus and hyacinth bulbs on Friday.

5th Class became costume designers for a day and they came up with some very creative clothes for characters of their choice.
