Board of Management: 
Our school operates under the Education Act 1998, other relevant legislation and the Rules for National Schools, currently applicable, which are made by the Minister for Education & Science.

Role:

1 - To manage the school on behalf of the patron (The Bishop of Kildare & Leighlin) for the benefit of the students and their parents so that each student is provided with an appropriate education.

2 - Perform the functions conferred on it by the Education Act 1998:

- in accordance with the policies laid down by the Minister.
- upholding the characteristic spirit and ethos of the school. 
- consulting and informing the patron on decisions and proposals of the board
- publishing appropriate policies relating to enrolment, discipline etc 
- promoting respect for diversity. 
- ensuring efficient use of resources provided by the Department of Education & Science

Constitution: 
- Two nominees of the Patron 
- Two parents elected by the general body of parents 
- The Principal Teacher
- One other teacher elected by the teaching staff 
- Two other nominees from the wider community proposed by the above six nominees.
